What is the installation process?

A typical boiler replacement takes a day. All our installations are carried out by our experienced Gas Safe registered engineers (OFTEC registered in the case of an oil boiler) and all electrical work is carried out by our NICEIC registered electricians.

At the start of your installation, your engineer will talk you through the planned works and discuss any concerns you may have. We will put down dust sheets and take every care to ensure your home is safe and well looked after.

Having completed the installation we will commission, test and certify your new installation. We will also carefully talk you through your new boiler’s controls and how to operate it in the most efficient way. Prior to leaving we will clear-up, vacuum and leave your home as we found it. We will also leave you with our comprehensive Customer Care Pack that includes operating instructions for your boiler.

In most cases, it is 100% free. It all depends on the energy efficiency and size of your property. You will be advised of any contribution during the free survey.

The Government have set the utility companies targets to reduce carbon emissions. This is known as the Energy Companies Obligation (ECO). Installers complete the work and then invoice the utility companies or their managing agents for the grant amount.

Yes, the survey is always free of charge.

Depending on the make of the boiler you will receive a warranty of between 2 to 5 years.

Approximately 5 hours.

This will depend on the amount of work needed in the property. For instance, if pipework needs to be re-routed it will be messier than a straightforward boiler swap. The installers will clear up any mess afterwards.

No. The surveyor who carries out your survey will complete the necessary paperwork. The Installer will then process the grant application on your behalf, after the work is completed.
